The average yearly temperature in Santa Ana has been on the rise for decades, pushed up by urbanization and, to a lesser degree, global warming, says the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The year-to-year figures also vary due to natural variation in climate and weather. Graphic by Scott Brown.
