The University of Southern California, a major research school that draws thousands of its students from Orange County, said late Sunday that the campus has been stricken by a “highly contagious ” gastrointestinal virus that has led at least 130 of its students to seek treatment at on-campus and off-campus medical facilities over the past two days.
The students are “exhibiting symptoms of a contagious, but self-limiting, virus: with vomiting, diarrhea and stomach-cramping,” the university said in an e-mail. “USC is offering medical aid to those students who need it through the University Health Center and LA emergency responders.
“We are urging students who are not feeling well — or who have had contact with other sick students — to avoid socializing and take every precaution to reduce the chance of infecting their fellow students. … USC is working with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to contain and prevent the further spread of this illness.”

Check the UCLA science labs for evidence of this virus
I’m surprised at the large number… I think I heard 50 on the news last night. one other thing besides trying to treat & contain it spreading between students is they need to really find the original source. and what is the virus?? is this a new one, or just a new strain of something typical.
probably EVK (dining hall) should not necessarily be without scrutiny. if you’ve attended there you know what I mean
