Register photographer Mark Rightmire took this handsome image of a crescent moon offset by the planets Jupiter and Venus. You’ll be able to see the site again early Tuesday and Wednesday evening over the southwest horizon. Sciencedude is vacationing in Honolulu at the moment. But I’m enjoying the night skies. Feel free to send me images. I may post them.
Send images to grobbins@ocregister.com.
