The name of this blog is Sciencedude, although it might as well be called the Hugh Ryono Fan Club because I’ve run so many of his videos. Ryono, who lives in Fullerton, is a respected naturalist who has videotaped everything from ’sleeping’ whales off the Palos Verdes Peninsula sea turtles in the San Gabriel River. Ryono also is a docent at the Aquarium of the Pacific, where he interacts with a variety of animals, including otters and sea lions. Hugh casted some of the animals in this funny spoof of ‘Star Wars.”

Other Ryono videos:

  • ‘Sleeping’ humpbacks videotaped off Palos Verdes
  • Birth of a dolphin off Point Vicente
  • Sea turtle swimming in the San Gabriel River
  • Wayward sea lions in the San Gabriel River
  • Follow Sciencedude on Twitter at grobbins and add him as a friend on Facebook.

Nope, it still says the video has been removed. Even searching for it on YouTube indicates it’s been removed.
