Caltech regularly produces animations that show how seismic energy traveled during certain earthquakes. The recent animations include the 3.9 quake that occurred on Saturday, June 20, lightly shaking all of Orange County.

The quake broke beneath the seafloor, about 50 miles off San Clemente Island. But it produced light shaking felt across Orange County.
