Fog lingering in north O.C.

Patches of dense fog continue to linger in north Orange County and may stick around until just before noon, says the National Weather Service. South County has largely cleared. But there is a large bank of clouds just offshore and it is edging its way to the east. The clouds should limit temperatures from rising above the mid-70s in most areas today.
The fog has not delayed flights out of John Wayne Airport.The morning flight schedule begins at 7 a.m. (Departures/delays).

Is it foggy in your coastal city?
It’s extremely foggy in Capistrano Beach.
It is very foggy in Capistrano Beach right now. You can hardly see across the street.
Woodbridge area of Irvine…Very foggy 100 feet visibility
We are 2 miles from the beach in HB and there is no fog. However this morning it was as thick as pea soup!

I had to look this up. I kept thinking the poem was from Edna St. Vincent Millay. But at least I didn’t think it was from John Carpenter’s, “The Fog.” Or from Foghorn Leghorn.

I went surfing this moring and it was crazy! I have been surfing my entire life, and after riding my motorcycle to the beach in the “pea soup”, I was barely able to paddle out in the thick fog. Reminds me of some serious Ballads man… just plain nuts!!
